Job Description

BASIC FUNCTION: Producer of plant nutrition products is currently seeking qualified individuals for a new Sales Agronomist position in the The Central Valley, CA. The successful individual will have responsibility for supporting sales or various company and agency products in their respective regions into the agriculture market, and assist in managing the quality and consistency of such products as well as service delivery.

Knowledge & Skills

• Develop sales territory with strategic distribution partners • Manage distribution relationships • Engage in sales calls with Distribution sales team • Achieve sales goals • Promote Agriculture Products. • Provide technical service assistance to customers. • Perform regular customer and potential-customer visits. • Identify and follow-up on new product and business opportunities • Present Product Portfolio and research data at meetings • Develop and maintain a solid understanding of the regulations impacting the agricultural market and our products. • Maintain and develop thorough knowledge of product technical information and uses of company and agency products in specified geographic region for agricultural applications. • Maintain close collaboration with corporate business development & marketing. • Other duties as assigned.
