BayCare Clinic Gynecologic Oncology is looking for a Patient Services Representative to join our team in Green Bay, WI. We're looking for a compassionate, thoughtful candidate who wants to contribute to a positive experience for all our patients. The typical hours for this role are Monday-Friday from with a rotating schedule between the hours of 8:00am-5:00pm No Holidays No Weekends

The Clinic:

BayCare Clinic is a successful, dynamic group comprised of 19 specialties. We are a physician-owned entity with joint ownership in Aurora BayCare Medical Center, a 167-bed hospital located in Green Bay, WI, offering us a built-in referral base. Each of our specialty practices have clinical autonomy and are financially sound.

The Practice:

Our gynecologic oncologists treat women with gynecologic cancers as well as certain benign (non-cancerous) conditions that may require surgery. Our team provides a multidisciplinary approach to cancer therapy. We create individualized gynecologic cancer treatment plans based on the latest cancer research and technology.

The Job:

  • Greets and checks in patients.
  • Assists patients in filling out patient forms.
  • Answers phones, takes messages, and routes calls when necessary.
  • Pre-registers patients, verify insurance, co-pay and share important appointment information.
  • Enters pertinent information into patient charts.
  • Schedules patient appointments.
  • Collects co-payments from patients.
  • Performs general office duties.
  • Respects and maintains confidentiality.
  • Works in a safe, compliant, and ethical manner at all times.
The Requirements:
  • A minimum of a high school education or equivalent.
  • Post high school coursework in Medical Terminology and/or HealthCare Business Services is appropriate.
  • Must have a working knowledge of medical terms and health insurance.
  • Must possess strong desktop computer skills.
  • Experience with EPIC is preferred.
  • Prior experience in a medical setting is preferred.
