Responsibilities
Assist with recruiting, coaching and developing a high-performance sales team.
Act as a resource to sales staff with pricing, closing the sales and developing sales plans foraccounts.
Monitor competitive activity and develop new methods to capture and retain customers.
Respond to questions from customers and resolve complaints to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained.
Maintain current knowledge of products.
Report on sales activity.
Regularly attend sales meetings and training sessions.
Attend trade shows.
Assist in the development of policies and procedures to support best practice.
May provide input into performance evaluations and assist in action plans to improve overall individual and team performance.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales and Marketing, or related field
3 years of sales management experience in the building materials industry, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
