Fun: We take our work seriously- not ourselves SUMMARY The Senior Accountant reconciles Passthrough Programs, and assists in month-end processes, year-end audits, and daily management of joint venture’s accounting activities. JOB FUNCTION/PURPOSE · Reconciles Passthrough programs, determines the payments to vendors, and submits disputes to Retailer’s portal. · Manages and compiles Master Distribution Agreement for passthrough vendors. · Participates in the month-end closing process. · Regularly maintains detailed reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts. · Performs general account analyses and reconciliations, bank reconciliations, fixed assets, accruals, and prepaid expenses. · Compiles daily Flash Report. · Assists in year-end audit processes, including preparation of audit schedules, organization and review of supporting documentation for audit. · Assists with external and internal financial reporting, including income statements, balance sheets, statements of cash flow as well as other reports. · Assist controller in managing Joint Venture on their daily and monthly accounting activities. · Assist FPAM in preparation of annual budget · Supports CFO and Controller with special projects and workflow process improvements. · Performs additional duties, as assigned by management. · Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES · Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required. · 4+ years’ experience in Accounting or related field. · Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. · Strong written and oral communication skills. · Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. · Strong organizational and analytical skills. · Able to read and understand technical forms and financial reports. · Willingness to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
