Tech Estate: Project Manager (JD)

  1. Experience: 10+ years
  • Planning and execution of large and complex programs using the PMO methodology and processes, and resources as required
  • Work with the functional leaders in a matrix organization to review excess and obsolesce tech inventory, partner with business owners to recommend exit strategies, disposition, and reserves
  • Experience in managing evaluating technology landscape, rationalization and identifying opportunity to optimize. Work with application owners to provide application landscape status including the cost benefit and define strategy to rationalize.
  • Control and tracking of the project forecast for financial reporting, and manage work orders
  • Ensure stakeholder satisfaction through smooth project financial monitoring, clear and responsive communications and controlled change, facilitate project planned vs actual state
  • Partner with key business stakeholders and product management to define operational metrics for every capability delivered ensuring they are measurable and tracked in a scalable manner
  • Ensure adherence to PMO standards and compliance through risk identification and management, active issue management and financial control ensuring that all changes follow the project change control process.
  • Establish and maintain a project communication plan, including meetings, agendas, minutes, tasks, and status reports.
  • Provide timely reporting to executive management regarding risk management, mitigation strategy, and directing attention to areas supporting strategic focus
  • Update and maintain tools/documents (e.g., Confluence, JIRA) so stakeholders can view the status of critical initiatives, meeting forums, goals, etc. at any time.

Success criteria/metrics for this role will include:
  • Project delivery - Delivering to mutually agreed upon scope, schedule and financial parameters
  • Customer satisfaction as measured by project lead
  • Commitment to quality
  • Being a trusted advisor to the PMO leaders and stakeholders
  • Highly analytical, experience in fast paced, collaborative environment, using data to drive to decisions
  • General knowledge of planning systems or aptitude to learn technical applications landscape quickly. Strong Excel skills required.
