Job Summary

The IAM Analyst II will gain the necessary understanding of Globe Lifes application portfolio for the purpose of ensuring the Identity Access Management (IAM) platform and identity ecosystem are performing as required and that all security, regulatory and business policy requirements are met. The analyst will perform primary duties and documentation of processes to ensure the security and Identity Access Management tools meet or exceed required performance. This position will serve as 2nd level maintenance and support for Analyst I and coordinating access between end users and the Application Development, Network, Systems, and Technical Services teams via phone, E-Mail, ITSM and all Identity Access Management systems.

PriMARY Duties & Responsibilities
  • Perform creation of new accounts using company provided IAM tools for all systems within scope
  • Mastery of analyzing access requests, gather additional requirements from requestors, to add, update, or remove access while ensuring the concept of least privileges and role-based provisioning
  • Analysis, creation, and maintenance of role based access for all departments
  • Identify, correct and advise on 2nd level access issues with client systems
  • Analysis and coordination of access between end users and the Application Development, Network, Security, Systems, and Technical Services teams via phone, E-Mail, ITSM and all Identity Access Management systems
  • Complete scheduled access attestations of business applications in accordance with SOX, PCI, NYDFS and other regulations
  • Develop access workflows through analysis of existing manual processes and solutions
  • Perform training of Analyst I position and peers on IAM tools for backup support
  • Documents policies, procedures, and standards based upon guidance from IT Security management
  • Provide 2nd level support to Analyst I on IAM Tools and Password Management for network and mainframe accounts as needed
  • Perform backup duties as needed for IAM team
  • Other duties as assigned by management

Required Skills

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Detailed understanding of Active Directory, 2 factor authorization, Web Single Sign-On, Powershell and SQL scripting and associated best practices
  • Ability to prioritize and work on multiple tasks concurrently
  • Innovative analytical skills
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented and able to promptly respond to work related email, phone calls and other electronic communications
  • High level of enthusiasm, persistence and work efficiently to meet deadlines
  • Excellent verbal communication, technical writing and documentation skills
  • Ability to be open to feedback, suggestions & to share ideas
  • Proficiency with MS Office productivity tools with advanced skill level in Excel

Required Experience

Education & Work Experience required

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience in Identity Access Management
  • 4 years previous experience with Windows operating systems and Active Directory
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
