JOB SUMMARY: Your Flight Plan

The Lifestyle Director is responsible for providing programs and events suitable and engaging for all residents.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Ready to Fly

  • Event Representation:

    - Serve as the face of all internal events hosted at the clubhouse, ensuring a consistent and professional representation of the facility. Check on all outside vendors during seminars, presentations, etc.

    - Collaborate with the Event Director & Catering Director to coordinate and promote events, ensuring they align with the community's interests and values.

    -Assist with daily clubhouse operations as needed. Occasionally assist at Le Perk, room set-up, breakdown, A/V needs with room rentals. This is definitely a team effort, so all departments work together.

    Social Media Management:

    - Develop and execute social media strategies to increase engagement and visibility.

    - Manage content on Facebook to keep the community informed and engaged.

    Internal Marketing Channels:

    - Oversee all internal marketing materials, including the Wheel (our internal Spectrum Channels) and Breeze (Vertical Digital Towers), posters, signs, flyers, and other promotional materials that help promote events.

    -Every Monday morning, coordinate with Chef, Barb V, to distribute weekly specials, menus via Facebook, webpage, and Digital signage in caf.

    - Ensure all internal communications are consistent with the facility's branding and messaging.

    - Assist with webpage management. Ensuring all information, publications, Activities Directory, Etc are all up to date. These can change frequently due to changes in programming, so it is important to keep all information up to date on all mediums.

    Monthly Communications:

    - Design and publish the monthly Pointer, providing residents with up-to-date information on events, activities, and community news. Each monthly edition is published on the 15th of the month prior. It has many moving parts and is comprised of internal programming, resident club info and our paid outside vendors. This document usually has multiple updates throughout the month. Every time the Pointer is updated, make sure the newest version is on the KP website. The newest version must also be uploaded to the main printer for staff printing.

    - Create and distribute monthly newsletters that highlight key updates, upcoming events, and other relevant information for the main clubhouse. The South Club and 2020 Centre create their own monthly newsletter. These are uploaded to the website and posted on Facebook.

    Community Engagement:**

    -Host the monthly Newcomers for the residents. This is a monthly presentation made to the new residents of Kings Point informing them of the community, amenities, how-to's, and all the community has to offer.

    - Foster positive relationships with residents, ensuring their feedback is heard and incorporated into marketing strategies.

    - Develop initiatives and campaigns that promote resident involvement and enhance the sense of community.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: The Wingspan Needed
  • High school diploma required; college degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 1 year experience in a similar field requiring similar event, customer service skills, and other responsibilities. Competent in Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Knowledge of Social Media Outlets
  • Current Driver's License
  • Strong community engagement
  • Occasional travel may be required.

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • This job operates in a clerical, office setting, clubhouse, and/or outdoor setting.
