The Night Auditor position is responsible for assisting with guest and associate requests and concerns in a friendly and positive manner. The incumbent will balance all revenue and settlement accounts nightly, maintain files, and reset the system for the next day operations. This position will be part-time Friday and Saturday overnights from 11:00 pm - 7:00 am. ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Record guest comments or complaints, referring customers to managers as necessary. Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes. Classify, record, and summarize numerical and financial data to compile and keep financial records. Debit, credit, and total accounts on computer spreadsheets and databases. Reconcile or note and report discrepancies found in records. Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests of the hotel. Verify customers' credit and establish how the customer will pay for the accommodation. SUPERVISORY DUTIES -

JOB QUALIFICATIONS You must be 18 years of age or older. Previous Hospitality experience is required. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Internet, and 10-key. High School education is required. Ability to complete Front Desk Agent duties and process night audit in compliance with company policies and procedures. Ability to timely compile facts/figures, identify and investigate issues and resolve basic matters. Positive service orientation — actively looking for ways to help people. Ability to demonstrate active listening, giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customers and personal services, including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, and other office procedures and terminology. Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar. Must be able to complete all duties with or without reasonable accommodations. PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT:

May stand for long periods of time at desk. May use calculators, keyboards, telephone, and other office equipment in the course of normal workday. Stooping, bending, twisting, and reaching may be required in completion of job duties. Walking: Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another.
