We are seeking a skilled and experienced .NET Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about creating high-quality software solutions and possess a strong foundation in .NET development technologies. As a .NET Developer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain software applications that meet our clients' needs. You will have the opportunity to work on a range of projects, from web applications to backend systems, contributing your expertise to drive the success of our software initiatives.

Our company has a hybrid working model (3 days in office, 2 days remote) with a great office in downtown Greenville within walking distance of the baseball field and many restaurants. Applicants who want to work in the office and actively contribute to company culture are highly preferred. Salary is based on experience level.

Responsibilities

70% Execution and Delivery - Designs, develops, tests, and deploys code that meets Orange Bees' security & quality standards and customer expectations. Has the initiative to take on new, sometimes challenging work with a sense of urgency. Is customer-focused and understands the business value of the software being developed.

20% Growing - Enthusiastically seeks ways to grow in the field of software development and delivery by staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices.

10% Supporting and enabling - Supports existing software with feature enhancements and bug fixes. Participates in timely, thorough PR reviews ensuring project success while adhering to organization standards.

Requirements and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and object-oriented programming.
  • 5+ years of professional experience as a .NET developer using C#.
  • Expertise in building RESTful APIs and integrating external services.
  • Expertise with database technologies such as SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, architects, and UI/UX designers, to gather and understand software requirements.
  • Optimize application performance, troubleshoot issues, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with the capability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • A track record of delivering projects on time and meeting deadlines.
  • Previous experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Bonus points for Azure Certifications, e.g., AZ-204, AZ-104, AZ-305
