(HYG), a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, has an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional and talented **Senior Program Leader** at our product development and manufacturing facility located in **Greenville, NC** . **Who You Are:** + An organized, highly motivated team player that will have a positive impact on the cross functional teams you support + You are driven to see projects through to completion + Innovative thinker in troubleshooting and problem solving + You have experience managing groups with diverse backgrounds + Familiar with lift truck products, their design, and how they operate. + Exhibit good judgment and a realistic understanding of issues **What You Will Do:** + Leading multiple new product development projects that involve changes to multiple truck components + Develop and manage the project charter + Define project schedule, resources, capital and other investments, and margin/share benefits + Conduct business case analysis and construct funding request for management approvals + Lead cross-functional project Core Team to execute development projects and deliver in accordance with business plan + Project Core Team represents global functional disciplines such as Marketing, Design, Test, Procurement, Manufacturing, Aftermarket Service, and Finance + The Core Team members are responsible for executing tasks and producing deliverables as outlined in the Project Plan and directed by the Program Leader + Project execution involves definition of requirements, concept evaluations and documentation, product design, validation, pilot and first production, market launch activities, product cost and project financials tracking, and periodic status updates + Review Gate process utilized for managing and tracking program schedules, business case, and management signoffs + Identify, monitor, and mitigate project risks (technical, commercial, supplier) to ensure business commitments are delivered successfully **Position will be filled as a Senior Program Leader I or II depending on experience and** **qualifications.** **Senior Program Leader I Minimum Qualifications:** + B.S. Degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering is preferred); or equivalent + Minimum 5-10 years relevant industry experience + Strong Project management skills and experience planning and managing multiple parallel development projects involving diverse participants in multi-disciplines matrix team environment + Communication, presentation skills and leadership in a matrix organization + Extensive experience with cross-functional team formation, problem solving and leadership. **Senior Program Leader II Minimum Qualifications:** + B.S. Degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering is preferred); or equivalent + Minimum 10 years relevant industry experience in project management involving new product development. + Experience planning and managing multiple parallel development projects involving diverse participants in a multi-disciplined matrix team environment + Experience planning and managing operational programs including departmental staffing, budgeting, capital planning, and reporting **Who we are:** HYG designs, engineers, manufactures, markets, and services a complete range of application-tailored lift trucks that are _transforming_ the way the world moves materials.
