Along with Travel and Entertainment/Reimbursements requests, approximately over 2,500 reports are processed a year, as well as all purchasing/accounts payable order transactions (7,000) for the Department. This role will serve as an internal specialist on policy and procedure for accounts payable and accounts receivable, purchasing, non-purchase order payments, professional employee reimbursements, contract administration, and travel and entertainment administration. This position will provide financial organization, administration, and analytical support, by running various ad-hoc reports, maintaining Excel spreadsheets, and high-level support to the Supervisor, Operations Finance Manager, and CAO for planning and analysis of fiscal year budget for external sources. This involves the establishment and monitoring of internal and external financial systems, reconciling ledgers, and providing monthly financial updates.
