The Licensed Lead Clinician (Lead Specialist, Child Well Being) serves as the primary point of contact and lead for matters related to child well-being at DHS sites.

Responsibilities:
•Oversee and provide supervision for a team of clinicians, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services and adherence to established protocols.
•Develop and implement strategies to promote and support child well-being within the organization.
•Collaborate with site management and other stakeholders to address child well-being concerns and develop effective interventions.
•Provide clinical expertise and guidance to staff, identifying training needs and facilitating ongoing education.
•Monitor and analyze program data to assess the effectiveness of child well-being initiatives and recommend improvements.
•Stay up-to-date with current best practices and research in the field of child well-being and trauma-informed care.

Requirements

Qualifications:
•Master's degree in behavioral health or related field; doctoral degree preferred
•Licensed Social Worker (LCSW or LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Doctor level prepared psychologist (LP) or equivalent within the state(s)
•Minimum 5 years of experience in the field of child development and trauma-informed care
•Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role
•Strong knowledge of current best practices in child well-being and trauma-informed care
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
•Understanding of the unique challenges and needs of children in crisis or trauma situations
•Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency preferred
•Authorized to work in the United States and able to travel as required
•Successful completion of background check and drug test
