Position Summary:

Prepares basic financial, budget related and business-related analyses. Assists in preparing forecasts and trends analyses to support financial projects. Assists with special financial and business related studies.

Responsibilities:

Compiles, reviews and analyzes basic information for the preparation of financial statements, budgets, reports and related documentation. Assists in the preparation of operational budgets Assists with special financial, budget related, and business related studies and projects Assists in the preparation and presentation of financial data for external regulatory agencies Maintains financial records and information. Assists in the development, review, and submission of accounting and financial transactions required to provide for proper reporting Assists in recommending enhancements to the budgeting process Participates in generating ideas for operational expense and productivity improvements Prepares and analyzes pro-forma financial information resulting from new requirements to ensure compliance Performs other related duties as assigned

Required Knowledge and Skills:

Basic knowledge of statistical analysis, financial statement preparation, budget preparation and analysis and related business operations Prefer working familiarity with GAAP and statutory accounting practices Oral and written communication skills for internal and external contacts Ability to interpret finance information Ability to operate personal computer and related financial and business software
