This includes, not limited to, analyzing and validating demand requirements, purchasing raw materials, planning, and monitoring of production schedules, and optimizing inventory levels while maintaining the desired customer service level. This role interacts with internal business partners such as sales, purchasing, and manufacturing as well as an external supplier network. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Analyze and validate demand requirements of assigned products Develop and implement inventory control strategies to optimize stock levels and minimize carrying costs Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits. Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure on-time deliveries and quality standards are met. Participate in product life cycle planning with Sales, Engineering, Marketing and Product Development Issue purchase orders and manage communication with suppliers Plan and schedule production orders Identify and address inventory discrepancies and take corrective actions as needed. Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and report on supply chain and procurement performance. Ad-hoc request Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments, including production, sales, and logistics, to align supply chain operations with overall company goals. Collaborate with the finance team to manage inventory budgets and cost control. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)

The ideal candidate should possess knowledge of Supply Chain Management and SIOP (Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning) as well as experience in MRP and MPS in an ERP system.

ERP experience required (i.e. SAP, Oracle, JDE etc…) preferred; experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV a plus

Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma qualification a plus

Excellent communication skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Flexible and adaptable to the demands and requirements of a fast-paced environment and changes in priorities

Detail-oriented and resourceful
