In this role you will be responsible for: •Ensures the successful execution of the architecture design, combat systems design, allocation of requirements to hardware/software elements and conduct of integration of test for all platforms •Drives the integration, verification, and validation of complex systems to ensure all products meet the highest standards of quality and performance •Collaborates with business area leaders and cross-function product teams to achieve seamless integration and alignment of goals •Effective management of internal development efforts, external supplier relationships and strategically aligned buy vs build technology decisions •Oversees workforce planning and includes staffing, recruitment strategies, and determining talent management planning to place the right people with right skills in the right position. •Defines standard work to ensure compliance to technical, cyber security, safety and flight clearance requirements in delivery of products to program and government customers •Manage and report cost, schedule, and technical earned value performance for the AD&IT team to internal and customer reviews to include optimizing team performance and project outcomes •Champions and enables continuous improvement initiatives to enhance architecture, design, testing methodology, tools, and processes •Ensures availability of resources to the Program to meet program cost, schedule, and technical requirements. •Consistently mentors, coaches, and provides training and development to team members, driving engineering discipline and process excellence •Incorporates proven corporate practices while aggressively migrating the team and associated suppliers to modern industry standards to augment program execution •Contributes and engages in 1LMX Combat Systems road mapping and strategy to include areas like reuse, virtualization and automation.
