**Job Description**
The Team Lead is responsible for supporting the activities of Omega personnel engaged in manufacturing our cabinets. You are a visible leader on the floor. Our employees rely on you for assistance to guide them on how to work safely, therefore, you will lead by example by holding yourself accountable to the highest standards of safety, quality, and production.
To be successful as a Team Lead you will inspire trust and respect of the team. You will effectively coach our workforce by consistently and fairly interpreting, applying, and enforcing all company policies, programs, regulations, and safety rules. You are a coach, a mentor, an influencer. Additionally, you must know how to complete Gemba boards for all KPIs and be able to explain how this impacts our business.
Improving standards and producing quality craftmanship on time and under budget is your mission. You are a leader in 5s and organizational capabilities. An outstanding Team Lead will do all this through positive mentorship, leadership, proactive communication, and active influence of team behaviors and work product.
**Qualifications**
* Excellent communication skills
* Highly motivated to improve quality output and safety
* Positive and professional attitude
* High school diploma or equivalent required
* 2+ years experience working in industrial production is strongly preferred
* Advanced experience in interpreting production documents and safety manuals
* Advanced math, computer and writing skills
* Physically capable of manual labor that includes lifting, bending, and reaching
* Able to work 8-hour shifts or more standing
