About the Conference Centers Accounting Manager position

We are looking for an experienced accounting manager who will ensure our company's accounting procedures run smoothly. The primary duties will include managing financial records, creating bills, depositing receipts, supervising part-time accounting summer staff, and providing quality customer service.

The position is full time and requires 37.5 hours per week, usually Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Some seasonal overtime work, evenings, and weekends will be required. The successful candidate must be an active member of a Southern Baptist church.

The successful candidate should be trustworthy, attentive to detail, have strong math skills, be able to work on multiple tasks efficiently, and possess excellent communication skills.
Position Responsibilities are:
  • Create and manage bills, checks, receipts and so on
  • Review financial and related data and report any inconsistencies
  • Verify that all documents are correctly signed and processed
  • Manage some basic payroll functions
  • Manage business records, reviewing, adding and updating financial and related data
  • Participate in account reconciliation operations
  • Interact with customers, contractors, and 3rd party vendors,
  • Prepare reports about the status of accounts and discrepancies
Position Requirements are:
  • Good understanding of MS Office and databases
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Reliability and close attention to details
