Your primary responsibility will be to manage all aspects of cost accounting, ensuring accurate tracking, analysis, and reporting of costs related to manufacturing processes. Additionally, you will collaborate with various departments and other Divisions to optimize cost efficiency, support decision-making, and drive profitability. This role requires a keen analytical mind, strong attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.Key Responsibilities:Cost Accounting Management: Develop and maintain cost accounting systems within a batch processing environment, procedures, and controls to accurately track manufacturing costs.Analyze cost variances, investigate discrepancies, and implement corrective actions as necessary.Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of annual budgets and forecasts.Monitor budget performance, identify areas of concern, and provide recommendations for improvement.Collaborate with department heads to align budgeting efforts with strategic goals.Prepare and present regular financial reports and analysis related to the Division costs, including but not limited to variance analysis, cost trends, and cost-saving opportunities.Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support decision-making and improve operational efficiency.Inventory Management: Oversee inventory accounting processes, ensuring accurate valuation and reporting of inventory levels.Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste, optimize inventory turnover, and reduce carrying costs.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with production, procurement, and engineering teams to analyze product costs, identify cost drivers, and implement cost reduction initiatives.Partner with management to evaluate capital investment decisions and assess their impact on manufacturing costs.Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve cost accounting processes and procedures to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and relevance.Lead or participate in cross-functional projects aimed at improving cost management practices and driving operational excellence.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.Proven experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and cost structures.Proficiency in cost accounting principles, techniques, and methodologies.Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and draw meaningful insights.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with a commitment to producing high-quality work.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems; experience with SAP or Oracle or D365 is a plus.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and modeling.Ability to work in US without Company sponsorship#J-18808-Ljbffr
