For all.Group SummaryThe Magna Exteriors portfolio of products includes access systems such as liftgates, exterior trim, modular systems, front-end modules including fascia, active aerodynamic systems and other lightweight structural components for automotive, commercial truck and other industrial markets.Recognized globally as an innovator in all aspects of vehicle exteriors, Magna provides everything needed, from materials development and design through manufacturing and assembly, to help automakers create sleek, state-of-the-art vehicles across the world.About the RoleThis position reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor and is responsible for the general and specific job duties as described below.Your Responsibilities Determine reasons for equipment failures, repair, and maintain all equipment and facilities expediently to ensure the safe and efficient operation of all equipment required to maintain uptime goals. Order appropriate replacement parts and fluids through the Maintenance Manager. Fabricate equipment components using welders, milling machines, lathes, and other machine tools as required. Troubleshoot and repair all electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems in the molding department. Execute lockout/tag out procedures as required on all department equipment and facilities. Assist in the implementation, development and maintenance of a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)Who we are looking for Must have an Associate's Degree in a related and technical field of study required. Six years work related experience may be substituted in lieu of degree. Work experience combined with current schooling towards degree will be considered. Must be computer literate on the Windows platform.Your preferred qualifications Mechanical and electrical experience with industrial control is an asset. LOTO knowledge.
