JOB DESCRIPTION Reporting to the Enterprise PMO Director and receiving guidance from the EPMO Director and Director of Enterprise Technology Planning and Logistics, the Sr. Technical PM will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of large-scale capital technology projects in support of the One Network Program. One Network is a cross-secretariat program involving all multiple teams aimed at folding all into a single core network. The core network serves as the foundation for all information services including e-mail, data center operations, network communications, business applications, and internet services. Network Infrastructure position will plan, coordinate, and report on network projects from initiation to implementation. In this role you will use your expertise in project management to handle project costs, resources, risks, and issues to ensure maximum benefits are achieved and maintained. This is a unique opportunity to collaborate with a team of diverse and talented professionals who are critical to identifying and closing vulnerabilities, improving platform health and compliance. Some of your responsibilities may include: The PM will manage projects that include components of moves, network infrastructure upgrades, unified communications, network convergence from initiation to implementation under the One Network Program. The Technical PM will work with cross functional teams, secretariats/agencies, vendors to plan, coordinate, and report on project updates. Duties and Responsibilities :Manage all phases of projects through all phases of the project management lifecycle involving technical design, hardware, software, configuration, security, implementation, and deployment elements. Collaborate with various stakeholders within EOTSS, secretariats/agencies and and 3 rd -party vendors. Lead all procurement activities related to the network IT planning such as new hardware and/or software acquisitions required for the new site build out. Create and maintain project documentation for tactical planning and communication, and high-level presentations for executive-level share-outs. Elicit and translate business requirements into technical specifications and document Scope, Use Cases / User Stories, and other technical documentation. Ensure that the project has detailed project plans, work breakdown structures, project checklists, and budgets to meet established time frames that are aligned with available/approved financing, and staffing availability. Work closely with the internal Strategy & Planning Team to align project goals with overall strategies and priorities. Facilitate and communicate project team meetings and manage project risks, issues, and changes, and develop contingency plans to mitigate risks by providing detailed summaries and next steps to ensure smooth project execution. Facilitate post project retrospective to assess if desire goals where achieved and ability to explain why or why not, as well as mitigations.
