Parafinczuk Wolf is expanding the firm's Insurance Defense division and is looking for an Associate with 1-3 years of Insurance Defense experience to join our team. Our office is in Boca Raton, Florida, but attorneys are 100 % remote. The firm's culture is supportive, people and growth-oriented focusing on results with strong performance value system throughout the Firm.

The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, and self-motivated with strong communication skills, research and writing skills, excellent work ethic, as well as the ability to exercise sound judgment and think creatively. Multi-tasking will also be crucial and you should have a strong grasp of remote work technology.

The candidate will focus on all aspects of coverage disputes, including responses to civil remedy notices, taking an active role in pre-suit investigations, and drafting initial coverage evaluations for clients.

Candidate should have 1-3 years of first-party property insurance cases, taking and defending depositions, answering discovery, and preparing/arguing pleadings and motions. It's conceivable that you will also help with our product liability litigation division if opportunities arise.

Qualifications:

Licensed to practice in Florida
Excellent research and writing skills
Must understand legal billing guidelines and contemporaneous time recording
Must be able to multi-task and work independently
Required to have a dedicated workspace at home for remote environment
