Who are we looking for?

As an Organization and Workforce Planning Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, restructuring, and implementing organizational structural changes to optimize efficiency in line with the business objectives. This includes conducting organization health assessments, doing job evaluations, benchmarking with industry peers, developing strategic workforce planning modules (short/long term), and advising POD managers and executives on efficient and cost-effective OD strategies.

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent, an advanced degree would be a plus.
  • 20 years of experience in HR practices
  • 10 years of experience in organization development/design and strategic workforce planning in the oil and gas or petrochemical industries.
  • Certified CIPD, SHRM - SCP or SPHR/GPHP.
  • In-depth knowledge of organization design and applications that drive organizational improvement.
  • Hands-on experience and knowledge of the development and implementation of strategic workforce plans.
  • Have solid experience working with consulting firms (Korn Ferry, WTW, Mercer) for organization health assessment and job evaluation.
  • Business process understanding of the oil and gas or petrochemical industries.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform rigorous analysis of business functions, processes, organization structures, key capabilities, and governance requirements to design organizations.
  • Conduct internal and external research utilizing databases, benchmarking, market surveys, and interviews to build analytical frameworks and conduct complex business analysis to recommend optimized organization structure.
  • Review and consolidate company-wide short and long manpower plans, and recommend amendments for optimal organization design that supports the achievement of business objectives. Conduct periodic review of Manpower planning statistics to align it with business strategy and the budget.
  • Participate in research into PRC processes and procedures; may also investigate alternative processes or procedures in benchmark organizations; conduct assessments and propose improvements to methods, systems, and procedures in OME and support function organization.
  • Review and discuss organization design and manpower planning issues with higher-level executives and team heads and present recommendations to Senior Management. Liaise closely with the department representatives to finalize the org. structures and communicate outcomes as agreed.
  • Prepare high-level management reports, involving sophisticated evaluations and interpretation, at the request of Depts. or workgroup heads, setting out implications of actions and recommending ways forward; Maintain the manpower planning manual, and organization manual charts and ensure these are updated and amended as necessary to reflect changes in the organization structure.
  • Contribute to the work of the department as required within the general area of competence required for work of this type.

Stages of our Hiring Process

2. Interviews Stage:

2.1 LHR Americas preliminary interview: A member of the Talent Acquisition team from LHR Americas will contact you to discuss the details of the position, your interests, and qualifications. Furthermore, your English level will be evaluated at this stage, you will need to be an advanced English speaker to approve this evaluation.

If this preliminary screening is successful, your resume will be submitted to our client.

2.2 Client Interview: If your resume is approved by our client, a member of the Talent Acquisition Team will get back to you and schedule a face-to-face or virtual interview. We cannot guarantee the time our client will take to approve your resume, but it normally takes 7 to 14 days.

The client interview contains technical questions that help assess your familiarity with problem-solving in your given field and may include a behavioral evaluation. Be prepared to explain how you approach problems and produce solutions.

2.3 There could be additional interviews with hiring managers, which may also contain technical questions that will help them assess your familiarity with problem-solving in your given field.

3. Conditional Offer:

A successful interview may result in a conditional offer of employment.

Conditions for employment include but are not limited to medical examinations, and permission to secure a visa to work and reside in-country.

4. Relocation Process:
