Testing, troubleshooting, and debugging hardware using electrical engineering tools (oscilloscopes, DMM, volt meters, analyzers, etc.).
Develop test fixtures and support design improvements of future products.
Perform documentation (medical device standard).
Support replacement of obsolete parts: qualify materials needed, test components, work with vendor screening and selection.
Perform basic Python scripting for testing.
Read schematics and perform board bring up.
Skills:
electrical engineering, oscilloscope, troubleshooting, debug, hardware, manufacturing engineering, manufacturing process, npi, python, radio frequency, test fixture, hardware testing
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
BS Degree. Electrical Engineering preferred, but open to other STEM fields.
3 - 5+ years experience.
Experience testing, troubleshooting and debugging hardware. Experience within a manufacturing environment, or with a product already on the market.
Able to use electrical engineering tools, and perform basic Python scripting.
Pluses: life science experience. Analog or digital experience. RF experience.
