We are seeking a dynamic, self-motivated candidate for a Managing Water/Wastewater Engineer position in our Hartford, CT office. This position is responsible for managing both water supply and wastewater management projects, including business and client development, primarily in the municipal sector.

Responsibilities include: management and oversight of utility projects, review of site development projects on behalf of clients as the municipal designated engineer, and staff leadership and mentoring. This role requires active representation at municipal meetings, participation in marketing activities, preparation of technical and cost proposals, attendance at proposal presentations and interviews, and demonstrable business development capabilities. Requirements B.S. in Civil/Environmental Engineering 10-20 years of experience in the analysis and design of municipal water treatment and distribution systems, municipal wastewater collection and treatment systems, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) in CT is required and experience in the consulting engineering field is desired. Candidates should also be proficient in technical writing, possess solid marketing and communication skills, be able to interact effectively with teammates, staff and clients, and have experience in the preparation and presentation of proposals.
