THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE: he role of Category Manager, Ecommerce is responsible for increasing digital topline sales by optimizing conversion, profitability, and enhancing the overall site experience. This role brings a specialized focus on brand product strategies, leveraging expertise in digital merchandising, guest experience development and data analytics, this role plays a key part in ensuring that the online guest experience is seamless, intuitive, and highly satisfying. The Category Manager, Ecommerce collaborates cross-functionally with the Marketing and Merchandising team aiming to meet or exceed online sales and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) while keeping the guest at the forefront. The Category Manager, Ecommerce will develop digital strategies that amplify brand product strategies, aligning with the broader enterprise goals. CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Digital Channel and Merchandising Strategy:

Drives digital strategies, emphasizing priority brands products and digital features to translate insights into actionable on-site plans. Puts a key focus on sampling to help promote trial, drive sales, and encourage repeat product purchases across the enterprise. Sales and Profitability:

Accountable for overseeing the performance of the online sales for priority brands and/or a merchandising category, staying connected with the Merchandising team in the event of sales declines. The collaboration between teams ensures action to make necessary adjustments and implement strategies to address the downturn in online sales. Marketing:

Create comprehensive Email/Mobile/Site marketing strategies to optimize profitable sales in alignment with Merchandising strategies and priorities. Collaborate with broader working team to drive the creation of compelling and engaging content and ensure cohesive and impactful messaging. This includes overseeing the email calendar, pagination, and spearheading the creation of an exceptional guest experience. Utilizing data-driven insights, measure and analyze the site engagement and adjust exposure to improve performance. Additionally, serve as the liaison with the Digital Marketing team providing support for paid search and affiliate strategies as needed. Digital Experiences:

Stay connected with the Digital Experience team about emerging digital features and technologies specifically related to product. Actively explore, consult, and market new tools and functionalities to improve the online shopping experience and drive sales. Reporting and Analysis:

Communicate essential digital metrics such as traffic, conversion rates, and engagement for specific brands/categories, and crafting strategic recommendations to enhance and expand their online performance. Collaborates closely with the Demand and Conversion team to align efforts. Event Execution:

Play a key role in shaping our events (tentpole, trend, online only, etc) into the best guest-centric experience. This involves adapting the strategy into a digital execution with a seamless digital experience in partnership with all cross functional partners (Integrated Marketing, Merchandising, Digital Merchandising and Demand and Conversion teams.) ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Brand Partnership : Partners with Omni Merchants and identified high priority brands to share digital insights and recommendations. Digital Merchandising:

Partner with Digital Merchandising team to increase product visibility/exposure, brand listing pages, product detail page, etc. Ensure a consistent consumer experience across the site. Trend:

Proactively assess and monitor the digital competitive landscape and marketplace to determine potential opportunities or threat. Collaboration:

Support and maintain internal and external relationships; including Distribution Centers, Merchandising team, Member Marketing, Digital Operations & Experience, Creative team, Merchandise Planning & Inventory THE ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS: Bachelor’s Degree preferred or relevant work experience. 3-5 years of digital experience in a similar role Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong listening skills Ability to plan and prioritize effectively and stay organized in a fast-moving business. Creative problem solver with an innovative mindset Strong Microsoft Office skills with solid proficiency in usage of Excel. Strong financial and analytical aptitude, ability to analyze the businesses’ opportunities and risks, and develop solutions.

Prior experience with a web analytics tool like Adobe a plus Professionalism and confidentiality required both internally & externally. Effective cross-functional collaboration skills. Works in a team environment as well as independently. Strong enterprise mindset with demonstrated enterprise thinking and strong business acumen.
