Procurement Analyst

**YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH THESE GOALS BY:
- Analyze data to support the creation of financial purchase orders or contracts within Ariba B&I in accordance with the company's accounting policies
- Prioritize purchasing activities according to company time-lines and strategies
- Assist in executing departmental responsibilities, including buying of goods and services, tracking and expediting orders, reviewing Ulta requirements and preparing forecasts.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely purchase orders, goods receipt and processing of invoices within Ariba B & I.
- Participate in the discovery and implementation of company continuous improvement opportunities
- Support the Procurement Department to help plan, organize, direct, and execute all associated purchasing activities
- Champion the procurement process throughout Ulta
- Strengthen relationships with suppliers, internal partners, affiliates and professional organizations to bring maximum value to Ulta's guests, shareholders and employees
- Provide purchase order and spend data to Strategic Sourcing Category Managers and/or internal stakeholders as requested for meetings and reviews with Suppliers
- Support the company in tracking receipt of goods/services as well timely payment for all purchases. Other duties may be assigned

**THE ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS**:

- Bachelor's degree and/or 5+ years applicable experience preferred
- Strong working knowledge of and past experience using Ariba Buying and Invoicing and SAP Procurement transactions
- General understanding of accounting principles including a chart of accounts, general ledger, balance sheet and SAP Project Systems (WBS elements).
- Intellectually curious problem solver with proven ability to solve complex problems
- Excellent oral and written communicator
- Ability to gather, evaluate and summarize large amounts of data
- Strong organizational and influencing skills
- Advanced Excel ability preferred.
- Process improvement and project management skills and experience
- Occasional travel and occasional overtime required
