Position Overview: We are looking for a motivated Talent Acquisition and Engagement Specialist to support our recruitment efforts and enhance employee engagement initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for recruiting entry-level production employees, managing the onboarding process, facilitating new hire orientation, and creating engaging communication materials. Additionally, this role will involve managing our in-house employee engagement program, overseeing workers' compensation processes, handling data management tasks, and assisting with various projects as needed. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract entry-level production employees. Coordinate and conduct interviews, assess candidate qualifications, and make hiring recommendations. Manage the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization. Facilitate new hire orientation sessions to familiarize employees with company policies, procedures, and culture. Create engaging weekly communication slides to keep employees informed and motivated. Develop fun and creative social media posts to showcase our company culture and promote employee engagement. Oversee the company's employee engagement program, organizing events and activities to foster a positive work environment. Handle workers' compensation claims and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Maintain accurate employee records and data, utilizing HRIS systems as needed. Assist with additional projects and tasks as assigned by management. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. 2+ years of experience in recruitment and/or employee engagement roles, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of recruitment best practices and techniques. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Creative thinker with the ability to develop engaging communication materials and social media content. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
