In this role, you will perform planned preventive maintenance and basic corrective actions on equipment as scheduled. You will interface and communicate with engineering and manufacturing groups across the fab to ensure all issues are solved appropriately and efficiently. Location: South Portland, Maine Shift: Work 12 hour shifts on a fixed, compressed schedule, allowing for 3-4 days off in a row and built in overtime. Responsibilities: Execute scheduled maintenance. Track and assemble all parts required to complete maintenance ahead of time Completion of qualifications required to bring equipment fully out of maintenance state and into production Track critical data from performed maintenance to define improvement opportunities for optimal preventive maintenance performance Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on production equipment Conduct preventive maintenance to prevent breakdowns and minimize downtime Texas Instruments will not sponsor job applicants for visas or work authorization for this position. Minimum Requirements: High School graduate or GED Ability to demonstrate hands-on mechanical maintenance or repair experience Knowledge of or experience in using basic hand tools Flexible to work days, nights or weekends and holidays Must be at least 18 years of age Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in production maintenance Ability to read, understand, and create mechanical prints/schematics Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals Strong interest in and capability of performing mechanical and maintenance activities on tool sets Commitment to working via a highly standardized set of instructions is required Effective teaming with both engineering and manufacturing teams is required Experience with Excel and PowerPoint is a plus Excellent organizational and teaming skills Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions Ability to take the initiative and drive for results Ability to work effectively in an interrupt-driven, fast-paced and rapidly changing environment Why TI?
