Job Description The Senior Financial Analyst for North America FP&A plays a pivotal role in financial planning and analysis, focusing on data aggregation, trend analysis, modeling, forecasting, planning, and reporting. The primary responsibility involves managing risk and opportunities while streamlining financial reports for Brink's North American operations. The ideal candidate will be skilled in creating Profit and Loss statements from scratch and developing data models to support regular financial reporting. This role encompasses contribution to forecasting cycles (annual, monthly, weekly), standard reporting, and various ad hoc initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Reporting: Prepare and deliver weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual internal financial reports for North American entities. Financial Analysis: Build, research, and analyze financial statements and general ledger reports to provide actionable insights. Forecasting & Planning: Assist in monthly and annual forecasting and planning processes. Process Improvement: Continuously enhance reporting processes and efficiency to streamline operations. Data Presentation: Compile and present accurate and timely reports, graphs, and charts, offering insights into business performance. Cross-Department Collaboration: Partner with other departments to prepare analyses and identify opportunities for improvement that positively impact the bottom line. Executive Support: Provide ad hoc research and analysis for executives regarding current and historical financial performance and future projections. Procedural Assessment: Conduct ongoing evaluations of procedures to identify future needs and challenges. Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned or necessary. Minimum Qualifications: Minimum of 2+ years of progressive financial experience demonstrating increasing responsibility, scope Minimum of 2+ years using financial consolidation systems such as Oracle, SAP, Hyperion Preferred Qualifications: Strong Excel, Microsoft Suite and modeling skills Exposure to large databases; and proven ability to deliver analytics Exposure to large operating environment; preferably with diverse distribution Experience owning and contributing to processes and/or portions of processes Experience in statistical modeling Knowledgeable of the accepted accounting principles (FASB & GAAP) Bachelor of Science degree in Finance or Accounting or MBA About Brink's Brink's is the global leader in security and logistics services, trusted by banks, financial institutions and businesses in both public and private sectors.
