Process Improvement Analyst

Pay Rate: $38.00 Per Hour

Duration: 6 Month Contract to Hire based on performance

Location: 100% On-site Cambridge, Massachusetts 02139

Hours: Standard

Role Overview:

Day to Day Responsibilities:

Analyzes and identifies improvements for current transportation department processes.

Documents and studies department processes utilizing Lean Six Sigma tools, time/motion studies and other techniques.

Manages mid size projects and implementations, often focused on process modifications.

Manages project team to develop and implement mid-sized process efficiencies.

Uses project management tools which may include a project plan, business case/cost benefit tracker, training and communication plan, etc.

Will monitor:

Transportation App - Wayleadr

Collects and houses all data

Client based website

Responsible for monitoring parking reimbursement SLAs

Managing benefit page for transportation

Relationship management:

Manage relationship between client and City of Cambridge and State of Massachusetts regarding transportation guidelines

Manage relationship between client and 3rd party consultants

Meetings and Presentations:

Quarterly Steering Committee

Quarterly Employee/Client Training Sessions - transportation does knowledge share on app use, general FAQ

New Hire Orientation 1x Month - entire transportation benefit overview

Other Duties:

Researches and gains in- depth understanding of current processes and formally documents new areas of process improvement.

Analyzes and benchmarks process metrics against industry standards to ensure a "best practice is achieved when possible.

Assists management in the tracking and prioritization of projects in the Process Improvement Team pipeline.

Partners with IT to create technology solutions which achieve direct process efficiencies.

Trains staff on new approved business processes.

Qualifications:

Years' Experience Required:

3 - 5 years experience with process improvement, project management or other related experience.

Education Requirements:

HSD

Systems/Software Proficiencies:

Office Suite, Mobile Applications, Site Management

Certifications:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Executive Presentation skills

Strong organizational and analytical skills.

Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers.

Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and/or commissions.

Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents

will need to pull data from various sources and enter on PowerPoint deck for presentation

Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations

Self-starter, business acumen, excellent decision-making, and able to operate under ambiguity at times.

Strong emotional awareness and intelligence

ability to pivot and deal with critical exceptions.
