Product Support Engineer

Your main responsibilities will include: 1. Build and nurture relationships with suppliers while also providing product information and support to internal teams and end-users. This includes streamlining the process of product collaboration and providing support via email, phone, or in-person. 2. Conduct comprehensive product testing, including new and beta products. Develop and implement standardized testing procedures to ensure product quality and reliability. 3. Stay updated on the latest products and technological advances in the Audio-Visual industry, while actively suggesting product strategies to align with market trends. 4. Provide multi-channel technical support for both residential and commercial Audio/Video clients, including troubleshooting products and systems. 5. Oversee customer relationship management, responding promptly to online and offline customer reviews and feedback, to ensure high customer satisfaction. 6. Develop instructional materials for new products and provide training and coaching to end-users to ensure they can effectively utilize the product features. Requirements: • A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, with a major in Electronics, Communication, or Automation. An associate degree is also acceptable. Alternatively, having CTS/CTS-D/CTD-I certifications is sufficient. • Fluent in English required, Excellent written and verbal communication skills are critical. • At least 1 year of related hands-on work experience in the Audio-Visual industry preferred. • Knowledge of Control 4, Crestron, and other control systems. Hands-on experience with Control Systems, Video Conferencing Systems, Audio DSPs, Video Switchers. • Previous customer service and/or phone call technical support experience preferred. • Experience in network management, VLAN management, Firewalls, VPN, and other layers 3 network switch configuration standards. • You are a self-starter and self-motivator, not waiting for tasks to be assigned. You pay attention to detail and are not afraid to take ownership and drive issues to closure.
