About Us:
At Realm, we're passionate about supporting homeowners through their renovation journey and creating meaningful connections within our communities. We're currently seeking a highly motivated and outgoing individual to join our dynamic team as an Event Sales Representative. This is not your typical sales position; we're seeking someone who thrives in the lively atmosphere of community events (think: farmers markets, sporting events, retail pop-ups, etc).
We are currently hiring this position in the Bay Area, Orange County, Los Angeles, and San Diego.
Responsibilities:
- Experiment with community marketing initiatives such as in-person retail pop-ups, farmers markets, real estate expos, and local flyering.
- Perform event setup, including arranging product displays, signage, and promotional materials.
- Initiate genuine conversations, effectively conveying Realm's renovation advisory service to spark interest, generate leads, book meetings, and drive sales.
- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and fostering positive relationships.
- Meet individual sales targets while contributing to the overall team goals.
- Proven success in sales, preferably in events, retail, real estate, or construction.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers and build relationships.
- Have access to a reliable vehicle for transporting event equipment such as a tent, table, marketing materials, etc.
- Proficiency in using technology, including point-of-sale systems, tablets, and CRM software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, taking initiative and demonstrating a proactive attitude.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills to successfully close sales
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required by event schedules.
- Part-time position; weekend availability is required
- Starting pay: $26 per hour with uncapped commission potential
- Compensation will be provided on an hourly basis, with commission payment awarded monthly
- Training and ongoing support will be provided to ensure success in the role
