**Pool Attendant/Cashier**

(Season begins early-May to early-September)

**QUALIFICATIONS:** Minimum age 16 years - preferred

**JOB SUMMARY:**

Responsible for the daily duties of the aquatic center including but not limited to: customer service, cash handling, inventory control, park admissions, class and pass registrations, special events, guest greeter and facility upkeep.

**SUPERVISION:**

The Seasonal Cashier will report directly to the Pool Managers.

**QUALIFICATIONS:**

Responsible, courteous, good communication skills, accurate cash handling skills, good work ethic and ability to work without close supervision. Must possess a sense of pride and accomplishment with ones work.

As a condition of employment, the successful candidate must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen (including marijuana).

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**

* Cash handling

* Accurate count of start-up and ending monies

* Accurate change counting

* Accurate sales transactions

* Pass and program registrations

* Input information into system correctly

* Advise on what passes and classes offer

* Communicate with other staff and customers in a courteous and professional manner

* Inventory control

* Complete required inventory sheets

* Facility Upkeep/Operations

* Daily and continuous cleaning of cashier booth, around the facility & lock rooms

* Daily trash removal

* Enforce all rules and regulations with patrons

* Help with daily park operations

* Slide Dispatching

* Greet guests with facility policies and procedures

* Comply with City of Troy and County regulations and policies

* Any other related duties as assigned by supervisors

**COMPENSATION:**

Work hours are determined by pool operation hours

**STARTING SALARY:** $10 /HR
