Job Summary:
The Physician provides quality patient care in a clinical setting. The Physician also assists management in developing policies and procedures relating to patient needs.

Job Description:

Responsible for the diagnosis, treatment and/or prevention of blood diseases and cancers such as iron-deficiency anemia, hemophilia, sickle-cell disease, leukemia and lymphoma. Consult with patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment. Recommend and order tests to determine the extent of illness or help diagnose condition. Document and code office visits and hospital procedures for billing and complete medical documentation for patient charts. Participate in quality and performance improvement programs as necessary.
  • Requires Doctor of Medicine (M.D) or foreign educational equivalent. Must have a valid Physician License in the State of Michigan. Must be BE/BC in Hematology and Medical Oncology.
