Position Responsibilities

The incumbent is expected to perform the following functions that the company has determined are essential to this position:

  • Leading and controlling purchasing projects to achieve targets.
  • Review and analyze cost
  • Collecting data to release to the buyer for quoting activity
  • Communicating the progress of the project to team members and executives.
  • Preparing necessary presentation material for meetings
  • Maintaining purchasing project documents such as tracking sheet and reports

  • Microsoft Office (Excel)
  • Negotiation Skills
  • Document Management

Beneficial Skills and Experience

  • 1-5 years of previous Purchasing and/or Project experience

Education/Training/Certifications

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, other Applied Science, or Purchasing supply chain management is preferred. Bachelors degree in Business or other non-technical area is acceptable based on proven technical skill.

Travel Requirements

  • Approximately 20 %
  • Must be willing and available to travel to such locations and with such frequency as is necessary and desirable to meet business needs.
