NATO Process Improvement Analyst

Worldwide Counter Threat Solutions (WCTS), an award-winning contracting firm, is recruiting for highly qualified Process Improvement Analysts to support the development of critical products in alignment with NATO's strategic objectives. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that NATO's forces, structures, and capabilities remain optimized to deter aggression and defend the region.

This position is contingent upon contract award.

Location: HQ SACT, Norfolk, VA
Work Hours: 40 Hours - Full Time
Period of Performance: August 1st 2024 - This is a 1-year contract with 4 option years
Travel: Must be able to travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations
Expected Start Date: August 1st 2024

Overview or Scope:
The NATO Process Improvement Analysts will lead the program management team in evidence gathering, administration, and the initial preparation of deliverables using established templates. There will be a need for analysts of a wide range of skill levels to accommodate needs from executive and flag-level leadership to junior supporting roles. All roles will require an expert understanding of analytical disciplines such as science, engineering, communication, and journalism, and strong critical thinking skills. The candidates must be proficient in organizing and utilizing various techniques, including storyboarding, table-top exercises, workshops, and prototyping. Applicants shall possess logical thinking abilities, strong interpersonal and analytical skills, and an understanding of organizational dynamics and the complexities of international organizations and cultures.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Assessment and design of business models, including customers, products and services, activities, skills, roles, and structures and any other closely-related business model elements.
  • Process improvement for organizational administration, including Human Resources, business finance, and related processes.
  • Process improvement studies and techniques for non-repeatable knowledge tasks such as strategic analysis, defense capability development and acquisition, etc.

Requirements:
  • Active NATO Secret Clearance
  • A college degree in Business Administration, Business or Data Analytics, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Ability to maintain a hybrid work model with the main location in Norfolk, VA.
  • Evidence of Organizational Development and Business Change knowledge and application within intergovernmental organizations, the public sector, and the private sector.
  • Evidence of a broad knowledge of Defense, or intergovernmental organizations, or similar sectors.
  • Expertise in understanding and awareness of analytical dependent disciplines including science, engineering, communication, writing, journalism and critical thinking.
  • Ability to conduct as-is process analysis, combined with known gaps and feasible mechanisms in order to provide as-is business process documentation.
  • Excellent logical thinking, both people and analytical skills, an understanding of organizational dynamics and an awareness of the complexities of international organizations and cultures.

Desired:
  • Previous experience with NATO or defense organizations.
  • Previous experience with other intergovernmental organizations.
  • Relevant certifications to process improvement including, but not limited to:
    • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
    • Certified Process Improvement Specialist
    • PMP Certification
