ABOUT BLOXROUTE bloXroute is the "Flash Boys" for DeFi. It created the first and only high performance blockchain distribution network (BDN) with the best solution for Ethereum, BSC, and Polygon. We encourage you to apply even if you don't match all of the qualifications listed. bloXroute is seeking an experienced Production Engineer, who will be instrumental in ensuring the highest levels of availability and performance for our application. As the Production Engineer you will focus on continuous monitoring and reliability, collaborating closely with development teams to architect, deploy, and operate our critical production systems. To be successful in this role you will have the experience to work in Linux environments, scripting, and proactive system monitoring that will help the team achieve our mission of delivering exceptional service to our customers.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, maintain, and optimize monitoring solutions to ensure visibility into application performance and system healthUtilize Bash/Python scripting to automate deployment, monitoring, and maintenance tasks across our production environmentsRespond to and resolve production issues, minimizing impact on customers and ensuring high availability and performanceParticipate in the design and implementation of infrastructure and applications to improve reliability, scalability, and efficiencyConduct root cause analysis of production incidents and implement preventive measures to avoid recurrenceCollaborate with development teams to advocate for and implement reliability best practices throughout the software development lifecycleManage cloud-based resources and services, leveraging AWS to enhance our application's scalability and resilience.Requirements3-5 years of experience in a support engineering role, with a proven track record of problem-solving in high-availability environmentsStrong knowledge of Linux operating systems and networking principles Proficiency in scripting with Bash and Python Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skillsCuriosity and eagerness to learn and share knowledge with othersKnowledge of monitoring and alerting toolsExperience with cloud services (preferably AWS), including EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins)Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experienceImportant Notice for Job Applicants: Please be aware that bloXroute communicates job offers and recruitment information exclusively through official channels.
