The position provides leadership and coordination in the operational accounting and related budgeting activities of the division and ensures that reported results comply with GAAP. The position leads all financial administration and fiscal management of a business unit and communicates any potential profitability or risk to the Construction Controller, while overseeing Accounting staff. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Review operational and construction budgets and analyze variances against budget and prior months’ costs Design and issue regular reporting to Divisional leaders Provide proactive analytics and reporting to improve forecasting, align results, draw insights and influence action Analyze and develop new metrics/reports, looking for trends and discrepancies Make suggestions regarding process improvements and assist with the implementation of new systems Perform a variety of accounting and finance duties including reconciliations, assisting with financial analysis, and budgeting.
