Key Responsibilities
- Process accounts receivable in the general ledger utilizing Invoice Ninja.
- Prepare weekly and monthly AR credit card sales entries for the general ledger and reconcile against bank deposits.
- Manage the credit card sales processes, coordinating with credit card companies and researching and disputing chargebacks.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis, identifying and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Calculate monthly sales tax amount and remit sales tax to state comptroller.
- Propose recurring journal entries and support the financial month-end close process.
- Assist the Accounting Manager with financial statement audit procedures.
- Prepare daily sales entries during peak season, tracking receivables from various entities authorized to make sales on behalf of the entity.
- Regularly evaluate processes and suggest enhancements as necessary.
- Comply with all internal, state, and federal regulations in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Procedures (GAAP).

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
- 2-5 years of full-cycle accounting experience
- Experience in the nonprofit industry preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel formulas and functions
