Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Manage the recruitment process including posting and updating career opportunities; screening resumes and candidates; scheduling interviews; administering pre-employment paperwork; conducting reference and background checks; extending offers to final candidates. Interview and assess candidates based on needs defined by department hiring managers. Attend recruitment functions such as job fairs and career days to source candidates. Handle administration of new hire process and enter in HRIS in a timely manner. Create and maintain associate files in an orderly, compliant, and secure manner. Place employment ads on various websites as requested. Conduct employment verifications. Perform I9 audit & compliance. Maintain and update bulletin boards in all associate areas and HR bulletin board. Maintain regular attendance and is consistently on time. Performs any other duties as requested by supervisor. Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; and 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Qualifications: Ability to write reports and correspondence. Must be able to keep information confidential. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Proficient in HRIS and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Work Environment: Indoor work environment with minimal to moderate noise levels consistent with hotel environment. Physical Demands: Position is expected to sit more than 2/3 of the time.
