Are you an experienced Outpatient Access Specialist looking for a new opportunity? We are looking for people with great customer service and professional healthcare professionals who love helping patients. We are looking for qualified Outpatient Access Specialist to join our growing team Must have EPIC experience This position is M-F 7:30am-4:00pm located in 30309.

salary: $17 - $18 per hour shift: First work hours: 7:30 AM - 4 PM education: High School

Responsibilities

Responsible for accurate and timely follow up and collections of Patient Accounts as assigned. Outpatient Registration Insurance Verification EPIC Collect complete referral intake information on new patients Greet patients Checking in / Checking Out patients Collecting and verifying insurance Collect new patient forms and established patient updated forms and demographics Answering office phone calls Collecting balances, co-pays, and payments Scheduling appointments for office visits Scanning, naming, filing documents and medical records Ensures patient referrals are obtained as required by managed care plans Provides necessary release and HIPAA forms to patient for completion and signature Answers emails and voicemails and returns patient calls
