The Clinical Director will also provide direct nursing care when needed. Finally, this individual works closely with the Medical Director and Director of Operations as PCCP's Continuous Quality Improvement Manager. The Clinical Director will identify opportunities to increase quality, safety, effectiveness, and efficiency, and develop indicators to measure, evaluate, and improve care for patients at PCCP.Essential Functions Clinical Care and Emergency PreparednessCreates and implements nursing policies and procedures to foster a positive and organized work environment while planning, prioritizing, and assigning healthcare tasks to clinical support team members.Trains nursing staff and ensures competency of triage, treatment, and documentation.Supports ancillary staff in maintaining provision of quality and safe patient care.Provides direct nursing care to patients on an as needed basis, including triage and treatment.Maintains nursing license.Together with the Medical Director and Director of Operations, contributes to and monitors standards to comply with safety, and infection control and customer relations standards.Communicates provider and clinic staff standards in keeping with regulatory agencies including OSHA and University policies.Communicates and enforces the University's safety process, which includes the Clinic's emergency preparedness, hazardous materials/waste programs, security management plan, and equipment management.Enforces Clinic responses to emergencies.Leadership/Supervision/Communication:Oversees the daily clinical operations of the Clinic including staffing needs and clinic flow.Provides direct supervision of ancillary clinical staff including nurses, pharmacist, nutritionist, lab and/or office manager, and meets both individually and as a team with such staff regularly.Develops and leads clinical workflow development and changes in collaboration with representatives of the Partnership team.Develops and implements staffing standards and requirements for the Clinic. Commitment to learning and delivery of trauma-informed care is essential. Compensation for this grade ranges from $ 90,430.00 to $ 135,640.00 per year.
