Job Summary
Large automotive parts manufacturer looking for a Data Analyst / Reporting Specialist to join rapidly expanding team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
Candidate must possess exemplary attention to detail and excellent communication skills as conclusions from data will drive critical department initiatives. Accuracy is paramount.
Requirements
Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Econometrics, Computer Science, or similar field.
Strong knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Excel and SQL Server
Experience with Tableau
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
Knowledge of Python and familiarity with Pandas is a plus
Knowledge of Alteryx is a plus
Experience with automotive aftermarket a plus
Willingness to learn
