*Description:*

* Incoming call of customers, employees, or client requiring assistance with open enrollment of medical benefits.

* Examines, assesses, and combines data to provide information on benefits and group insurance programs and utilization.

* Pinpoints needs for modification or changes in program design and administrative procedures.

* Records employee enrollment in benefits.

* Explains and interprets more complex aspects of company insurance programs to employees and dependents.

* Utilizes specialty in a more complex aspect of the Benefit Clerk duties, requiring more in-depth knowledge of benefit programs, company policies, and administrative procedures than the Benefit Clerk.

*Top Skills' Details*

* 1 year Customer Service (in-person customer service is fine. Must have patience and compassion, will be learning call center sills during training so don't have to have prior, but is a plus)

* Computer Skills (me be able to navigate Office, work through multiple tabs, understand webex)

*Additional Skills & Qualifications:*

Call Center (not required, but is helpful)

*Work Environment:*

Training is a set schedule in a classroom we will have confirmed training schedules for each class 1-2 weeks before the start date, but will be M-F between 8am to 8pm EST

- Post training schedules will be released by all vendors at the same time per each training class, likely on week 2 of training, so all contractors will have a few weeks notice to make sure they know what their normal hours will be

o They will NOT be able to choose or influence their shifts, and will not be able to change over the course of the contract

o Shifts will range between 8am 8pm EST and all candidates need to have full flexibility to work any 8 hour shift in this window for the duration of the contract

- MUST be able to work 1 Saturday per month, minimum, for the months of October, November and January this will be OT in addition to their normal schedule
