Job DetailsJob LocationWarwick, RIDescriptionCLINICIAN FULL TIME EXEMPTGeneral Summary: Provide assessment evaluations, outpatient short-term psychotherapy and linkage with community service agencies.Essential Responsibilities: Provide initial assessment and intake evaluation in client's home.Provide individual, couples, family or group counseling within the scope of one's competencies.Provide crisis intervention.Develop and implement recovery plans and document services consistent with Thrive standards and/or insurance requirements.Collaborate with other providers, agencies, insurance companies and individuals in the client's network of care.Provide relapse prevention, discharge planning, follow-up and aftercare.Provide education, training, and modeling in basic daily living skills, social or parenting skills.Teach clients effective techniques for managing their medication as prescribed.Coordinate community resources, transportation for client, and referrals to appropriate resources including services within Thrive.Assist clients in developing and strengthening their support network to accomplish goals and objectives.Produce, complete, and maintain billing forms, logs, data collection forms, clinical documentation and client records in accordance with Thrive standards and state and federal regulations.Ensure clients have appropriate medical coverage at all time.Accompany clients to community appointment, provides advocacy as needed.Schedule and maintain client hours sufficient to achieve individual / program billing targetsAdditional Responsibilities:Attend all agency/department required training and meetings within the prescribed period.Attend all Safety Training programs and be able to describe his/her responsibilities related to the general safety, department safety, and specific job-related hazards and responsibilities. Minimum (2) year experience working with clients with disabilities preferred.Experience or training in related state and federal assistance programs also preferred. Basic computer literacy skills are necessary.Certifications, Licenses Requirements: Licensed at an independent level (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW) preferred.Valid driver's license and automobile insurance which meets Rhode Island minimum standards law, or the ability to obtain necessary transportation in order to perform the job responsibilities/tasks is necessary for community based positions.Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
