As a senior accountant, you will focus on reporting, budgeting, tax, and compliance. This position reports to the VP of Financial Reporting. This position can be in office (Sarasota, FL), hybrid or remote but we are planning on in-person onboarding in Sarasota, FL for first week of employment. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, both understanding of US GAAP and foreign reporting, as well as manufacturing Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute financial plans using NetSuite Planning & Budgeting Software 2. Financial Analysis: Source data from multiple systems, perform analysis, and develop relatable reporting for non-accounting personnel in Power BI or Excel Monitor and analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide recommendations for improvement Validate the accuracy of cost data for the manufacturing subsidiary Help develop and implement cost accounting policies and procedures, as well as conduct reviews to identify areas of cost savings 3. Compliance: Assists in preparation of year-end procedures for audit work papers, and correspondence with auditors Sales tax, (GST, VAT) tax return preparation Statutory reporting, TPP filings, income tax-related tasks, such as state apportionments, credit research, and providing documents to outside accountants 4. Financial Transactions: Maintain balance sheet account reconciliations Manage fixed assets Reconcile bank account statements. Post journal entries for month-end close POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field Proven experience in financial reporting, analysis, cost accounting, manufacturing, and international accounting Experience in accounting for multi-subsidiary company Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work independently to deliver accurate, high-quality work with minimal oversight Effective communication and presentation skills Advanced proficiency in financial software and systems, NetSuite, Power BI, Click UP proficiency preferred S-One Holdings does not discriminate in employment against anyone based on race, color, sex, religion, national origin, age, disability status or any other trait protected under local, state, or federal law.
