TheDirector, Platform Engineering, is accountable for all the technical decisions and integration patterns, roadmaps, deliverables, and stakeholder management that impact our business priorities and processes. You are an experienced leader with a deep technical understanding of Agile methodologies, application architecture design and integration, who can effectively lead us to our target state. This role will be managing software engineering teams in support ofHealthEdge’s software products. Your Impact: Direct and guide teams to find theoptimal technology solutions and integration patterns to meet the business needs Overall accountability for Solutions scope, deliverables, cost, profitability, schedule,quality and resources to ensure detailed delivery Lead, manage, and oversee projects, initiatives, and daily operations Manage/collaborate a large set of business stakeholders to deliver on established OKRs and corporate goals Coordinate with team of Engineers, Developers, Programmerslocated at various Global CoEs and ensure timely delivery of solutions Tech savvy with experience scaling a team and services tooptimize impact and reach Tenacious, cross-functional people leader with the ability to inspire & guide teams to deliver great outcomes. Develop best practices, guidelines, and centralized governance structure, roles, responsibilities, and processes to support long-term goals Assessing potential risks and vulnerabilities, investigating securitybreaches and reinforcing appropriate measures to mitigate them. Experience inFinops and able to manage Tech Modernization and Cloud migration Develop,implement and improve the software development process, including analysis, design, code development, test, and support Mentor and train your team by performing regular check-ins, discussing career growth opportunities, giving constructive feedback, and managing conflict when necessary Work with the customer support and Technical Operations teamsassisting in resolution of support issues Perform all job functions consistent with HealthEdge policies and procedures, including those which govern handling PHI and PII What you bring: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Software, InformationTechnology or related field 8years’ experience as a Director with demonstrated experience leading geographically distributed teams Experience with a SaaS platform for building applications to support moving workflow/data-processing Oversee the design and execution of security solutions tailored to client needs, ensuring compliance with industry best practices. Effectively able to manage, coach, and mentor software engineers Experience building and supporting mission critical applicationsleveraging industry best practices and trends Expertisein cloud technologies and services, specifically Azure Expertisein additional cloud migration and DR toolsets such Willingness to research and effectively evaluate cloud toolsets Demonstrated experience building strong working relationships with Executive and Senior management and business user communities across various functions Experience implementing various Agile practices and methodologies What we do: HealthEdge provides modern, disruptive healthcare IT solutions that health insurers use toleverage new business models, improve outcomes, drastically reduce administrative costs, and connect everyone in the healthcare delivery cycle.
