As part of the Whiting Surgical Suite Team, the Registered Professional Nurse is responsible for the planning, implementing, and evaluation of care for a given patient population within the established standards and practices of Crouse Hospital. This process is enacted through direct clinical practice, management of patient care, and general professional duties.

Job Requirements:

Required:

Graduate of an accredited Nursing Degree program. Currently licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State. Must have a minimum of one (1) year of operating room or surgical nursing experience. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at the time of hire or within 2 weeks after hire. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and/or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification must be obtained within one (1) year of the hire date if deemed necessary for the position based on the scope of the assigned role.

IF HIRED OR LICENSED AFTER 1/1/2017:

MUST complete BSN (Bachelor's in Nursing within 8 years of hire date into the Registered Nurse position)

Preferred:

Certification in a specialty area.

Hourly Rate Range $33.00 - $46.02 Based on verified education and experience #J-18808-Ljbffr
