The Central Upstream Planning Team is looking for two entrepreneurial spirited individuals to join a brand-new team whose main focus is to support the India Dual sourcing project. These individuals will play a key role in establishing the framework for a new program that will help Schneider continue to grow at an unsubstantiated rate.   • Partner directly with NAM Plants, critical NAM suppliers, and the India UPM team on a brand new dual source project to secure critical materials for Schneider's growth.
  • Collaborate with NAM plants to validate the monthly forecast and confirm purchase orders are issued based on the allocation parameters as defined by the scope of the project
  • Provide insights as well as strategic recommendations to support the development and formulation of long and mid-range planning, policies, programs and objectives related to specific materials under scope
  • Establish mechanisms to process, track, monitor and improve monthly forecast (accuracy and bias) with materials under scope
  • Analyze data using tools to measure Supplier delivery performance and determine if there needs to be allocation shift based on performance
  • Create performance metrics and standards for all aspects of materials management and implements improvement initiatives
  • Responsible for monitoring Supplier performance and proactively identifying and mitigating risks
  • Monitor inventory at the impacted pants and adjust plans as necessary to meet internal targets
  • Proactively address future shortages or average on critical parts in scope
  • Work directly with the Schneider Digital team to create digital tools to streamline supplier reviews to efficiently identify action items.
  • Collaborate cross functionally with all impacted teams.
  • Work outside standard business hours to work directly with the international team (When needed)

  • Demonstrated effectiveness in Project Management
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills for effective interface with all internal and external contacts.
  • Proven ability to work in a team environment between the functions of Operations, Customer Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, and Finance, and interact regularly with senior management regarding goals and accomplishments
  • A self-motivated and influential change agent with experience leading continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities as well as attention to detail
  • Possess analytical and technical skills required to understand business practices and recommend proper automation opportunities
  • Energetic, flexible, collaborative and proactive team leader who welcomes challenges (specifically related to Supply Chain)


What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
  • Qualifications/Experience
    • Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Engineering, Supply Chain, Statistics or Economics
    • Language: Fluent in English
    • Experience: Min 5 Years experience in Procurement, Operations, Data Analytics, Supply Chain Functions or Supply Chain Project Management
    • Experience with Kinaxis, SAP, Oracle or other planning software packages
    • High proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint


    Experience leading and driving process improvements
