Director, Compensation & Benefits

is responsible for the design, oversight, and administration of all employee compensation and local benefits programs and initiatives.

This will include the annual total compensation planning process, competitive pay analysis, and job infrastructure review, along with recommendations and the implementation of local benefit programs.

Working collaboratively with the business, HR, and Finance, the Director will be required to understand specific business needs while driving the delivery of well-considered compensation and benefit solutions and processes.

This role requires strategic thinking, planning expertise, and analytical abilities.

The Director will interact across all levels of the company and with external resources, including vendors, legal counsel, and consultants.

This role will provide leadership, support, advocacy and vision to compensation/benefit managers and data analysts. Key Accountabilities: Lead the design and administration of compensation programs, including base pay management, incentive, and other variable compensation plans Develop strategic partnerships with Finance, HR and Legal to understand their strategies and ensure compensations and benefit programs are fully understood Collaborate with HR Business Partners and serve as key on all compensation and benefit matters, including promotion/adjustment recommendations, benchmarking, compensation strategy and budgeting Provide leadership for the team and support decision-making by providing compensation alternatives and/or recommendations Guide training and development activities in compensation management and total rewards for HR and business leaders Collaborate with the Global Compensation team to design special incentive programs, including sales incentive plans that are aligned with business strategies and objectives Research and identify trends and issues that impact compensation and benefits on a proactive basis toward achievement of business objectives Develop models, analyses and reports for compensation planning and forecasting Lead the annual year-end process for all levels of employees, including pay-for-performance and calculation of management incentives Implements union national master agreement compensation and benefit provisions as outlined in the national master agreement and any side letters Provide oversight, counsel and strategic vision for DHL Aviation LATAM compensation programs Collaborate with other DHL Business Entities in compensation and benefit reviews for local implementation Develop and implement a comprehensive communication strategy for local benefit programs Lead or participate in company-wide compensation projects Oversees and develops departmental policies and processes Skills & Qualifications:

10+ years of hands-on experience with developing innovative compensation and benefit plans Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Human Resources, Management, or other related discipline. CCP/CBP preferred High level of analytical/technical skills, financial modeling experience, and familiarity with market data surveys, compensation planning software and HRIS integration Strong understanding of all compliance and reporting requirements relating to compensation and benefits Must be a results-driven, detail-oriented, highly energetic team player who can function effectively and independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Strong project management skills with attention to detail and flexibility Ability to solve complex issues, prioritize, and take initiative Analytical, team-oriented, and collaborative individual able to support junior team members Exceptional skills with MS Excel, data organization and presentation Strong written and verbal communication skills.English required, bi-lingual in Spanish a plus Reporting Structure and Key Relationships #J-18808-Ljbffr
